Racing Disc Hubcap - 15 inch Stainless Steel Pop-on Moon Wheel Cover

They work great. It's a bit of a particular look on a modern car but I bought them to protect my rims from gaining more salt and rusting through. Sadly I didn't get these before it already started so... Now I am just let them deteriorate a little slower.
Now if only I didn't have to keep purchasing one hubcap in particular... My front Right one specifically... Things would be even better. But for some reason my Front Right Hubcap keeps popping off and goes missing. I never know when it does but I have lost two so far. My old one AND this new one that I just bought and currently writting a review for. I'm assuming it has something to do with my rim since it is the same one and I did make sure to seat the hubcap properly and everything but it just doesn't seem to want to stay there after I drive to work and back. So that is my only issue with the hubcap. And it very well might not even be an issue with the hubcap itself so the one star I docked might not even be due to the hubcap. So in theory you could consider this a 5 star review. Just wish I didn't have to shell out $39 on a seemingly weekly basis. Hopefully I can find it but it has been 4 days since I lost it so... I'll have to see.

Arrived with no problems

Everything in good condition and on time.

I've had these for nearly a decade and aside from a few shallow dings from who knows what they've been great. I had to buy one replacement because when someone intended to steal the set they could only get one off in 15 minutes. They really do stay put. Stainless steel so no rust and they're still shiny after years of abuse. Very easy to wipe clean during a car wash. Two things to remember: as you can see, you have to remove them to check the tyre pressure, and tiny pebbles occasionally bounce through the holes in the wheel from under the car and get stuck and rattle until you remove the hubcap (will be true of any wheel cover without holes). I'm a fan.

A perfect fit and good quality.

I just bought one to replace a stolen one from the set I bought 8-9 years ago. The reason only one was stolen is that they don't come off easily and the thief ran out of time. They are not easily lost. They're pretty tough. Mine have a few very small dents from some tyre shop hammering them on with a metal hammer but are otherwise unscathed, being fairly stout stainless steel. The only drawback is that they have to come off to check air pressure, but that also makes them more attractive. It's rare that I find quality accessories at affordable prices but I think this qualifies. Factory Scion wheels will rust a little at the edge of the rim and discolor the tyre but the inner parts of these covers have not.
